Epilepsy West Lothian is a
recognised Scottish Charity providing services
relevant to epilepsy to the people of West
Lothian, which has an estimated population
of over 150, 000. We are based at Bloom House
in Livingston Villiage, West Lothian. Within
the West Lothian area, there are an estimated
1500 children and adults with epilepsy. Our
client base potentially encompasses all of
these people as well as their carersfamilies,
friends, colleagues and employers. We aim
to ensure that they are all aware of our services
and that the services we provide are readily
accessible to them.
There are numerous forms of
epileptic seizures with various manifestations
causing different degrees of impairment. In
some people, the seizures can occur daily
or many times a day. Many people experience
